Nominate a Deserving Leader!
The Houston Texans BOLD Awards, presented by Coca-Cola, were established to recognize Black Outstanding Leaders and Doers who are making a significant impact throughout the Greater Houston Area. This award celebrates African Americans who are positively influencing our city through their contributions in community impact, entrepreneurship, social equity, non-profits, civil service, or as a rising young leader (aged 16 to 25). Five recipients will be selected, and a $5,000 donation will be made in their name to a non-profit organization of their choice. Additionally, the award recipients will be honored during the Houston Texans 2024 season.

Nominee Qualifications:
Achievements are primarily in one of the defined areas of influence (defined below)
Nominees impact must be within the Greater Houston Area
Proven record of bringing people together to reach goals
Each nominee should be directly affecting one of the areas of influence as defined below:
Community Impact: Someone consistently working to improve the quality of life in underserved communities across Greater Houston.
Entrepreneur: Someone who owns or has started a business and is using their business to positively impact their clients and community or mentoring the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Social Equity: Someone working to ensure fairness and equity in communities across Greater Houston
Nonprofit: An executive, staff member or volunteer who has dedicated their time, contributed financially or through fundraising to enhancing a nonprofit’s community impact
Civil Service: First responders, social workers or other civil service workers helping to maintain and improve their neighborhood, city or region and leading by example.
Rising Young Leader: A young person between the ages of 16 and 25 who is making an impact in the community through creating programs, volunteer service or utilizing their leadership skills.
